Rogelio “Roger” Rodriguez Jr., Bear- has flown 153 combat missions in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom, accumulating 639 combat hours of flight time and moving over 2000 patients. Over his career, with the Delaware Air National Guard he has logged 1660.2

Maj Roger Rodriguez, a 26 –year military veteran, wants to change the public view of soilders and veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder.
“Just being involved with the family and what they’re doing helps keep me grounded,” Rodriguez said at his home in Bear. “Going to therapy , of course, helps, both at Dover and at the Vet center. That helps. The meditation helps. But what [really] helps is the kids, and dealing with the kids every day, dealing with the family.”
