Patriots Care Student Pantry
Open every Friday or the day before a break from 3:20-4:00. Food and hygiene items available to any and all Millard South students and their families- no questions asked.
Moments 2 Zen:
Mission: Establishing a LifeLong Journey of Self Care. All Are Welcome! (Staff and Students)
The purpose of the club is to focus on positivity and self-talk, learn to grow from your experiences and control your mind. We believe that meditation and journaling creates a space where you can clear your mind, express gratitude, and change your life. We want to share some self care techniques for mindfulness and healthy life skills. This group will also promote conversation, friendship, and support through life challenges.
Meeting Days: Every other Wednesday in the library, starting at 3:30pm, 30 minute sessions (alternates Wednesdays with Patriot Yoga). First Winter Session is Wednesday, December 8th, then beginning again January 12th.

Patriot Yoga:
Mission: Creating a safe space for our students to learn and breathe. This certified yoga program is FREE to our patriot community! (Staff and Students)
School-based yoga and mindfulness programs have become widespread over the last decade in the USA, and are a promising approach to improving child and adolescent health and well-being. Benefits of yoga include: reduced stress, relief from depression symptoms, improved balance and flexibility, plus many more! Yoga mats and props are provided, bring a water bottle and wear comfy clothes for movement.

Methodist Hospital Emotional Support Hotline 402-815-8255 (TALK)
Available daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
This service is a way for people to reach out and connect with someone who can help find solutions for managing stress, anxiety and other challenges. The support line is staffed by licensed professional counselors from the Methodist Hospital Community Counseling Program. The counselors can assist callers who may be experiencing feelings such as: fear, anxiety, sadness, depression.
