Frontier Weekly Update
Sunday August 22, 2021
From Principal Owens
Frontier families, thank you for a successful first full week of school. We are full swing into our routines and curriculum. It is important that your child arrives to school on time each day. When the bell rings at 8:45 am, our teacher begin instruction. We don't want your child falling behind by being tardy. On Monday, we will have patrols around campus and at the car line. Please be patient as we have to train our patrols on the proper loading of students in cars. We will only allow our patrols to load on the right side of the vehicle to ensure their safety. PARENTS MUST REMAIN IN THE CAR AT ALL TIMES WHILE IN THE CAR LINE. If you need to buckle your child into a car seat, after your child is loaded, pull into a parking spot to properly buckle your child. Thank you for allowing us to share in your child's education by choosing Frontier Elementary as your school.
Picture Day is Coming September 3rd!
This week, your child will be coming home with school picture information for picture day.
Dismissal Change
In effort to alleviate the congestion at the entrance of the school, we ask parents picking up walkers and bike riders to wait by the bike rack at dismissal. This will be for all grades k-5. This new process has been working well however, we asked parents to pick up at the bike rack. If you have been waiting for your child by the front office to come out as a car rider, please change their dismissal to walker. If you change your child's dismissal to walker, please notify your child's teacher on Monday. Our car line is getting better every day, so if you want to keep your child as a car rider, please remain in your car for pickup.
Thank you to all walking parents for adjusting your routine in pickup to help ensure the safety of all our Panthers.
Car Riders
Parents, please take time today to adjust your backseats to allow your children to enter and exit the car from the passenger side of the car. Our carline is designed for loading on the passenger side to ensure students are safe. If you need to buckle your child into the car, please pick up your child and pull into a parking spot to assist with buckling in the backseat. ALL PARENTS MUST REMAIN IN THE CAR IN THE CAR LINE.
