Anderson 5 Needs Bus Drivers
Each day Anderson School District Five transports nearly 6,000 students via bus to and from our schools. The goal of our transportation services department is to ensure that our students arrive to and from school safely and on time, but we need your help. Due to statewide bus driver shortages, the school district is offering a $500 referral incentive to any person who recommends a bus driver that is successfully employed a minimum of six months with Anderson Five. Our bus drivers earn the highest hourly rate in Anderson County, and max out at the highest rate in the Upstate. They are guaranteed a minimum of 30 hours per week, and they have no mandatory summer hours - but more importantly they play a critical role in our school system. Again, if someone you know is interested in serving their community while at the same time earning great benefits, please contact our office at 864-260-5000 ext. 10287.
