No Teachers?? No Education??
No Teacher Gets Left Behind Act
No Teacher Gets Left Behind Vs. No Child Gets Left Behind
*Teachers come and teachers go. Highly qualified teachers are needed each year. Throughout the year teachers need training, online classes, professional development days and conferences to successfully stay up with current changes. Once a year a group of teachers should be selected to represent their state by attending TED talks to share ideas and create a plan for the school year.
Different practices? Same practices?
Teachers should operate based on their classrooms learning environment. Teachers should facilitate 21st century skills. Teachers should collaborate with other teaching teams.
Consistant Standards
Teachers should be required to meet standards to successfully help students succeed on high stake test.
Teachers should be required to:
*Meet 15 hours of training for new techniques and strategies
*Attend at least one developmentally appropriate conference
*Attend regularly scheduled professional development days to plan accordingly with help from the Common Core Standards and NETS-T Standards.
NETS-T Standards? Are teachers prepared?
Yes. Teachers are prepared to facilitate the message that NETS-T offer. Its the schools that are not prepared with the ample amount and appropriate resources to assist the teachers. Teachers are promoting growth to expand their knowledge and leadership skills in the 21st century. Teachers effectively engage students, collaborate constructive environments and model creative learning for their students to learn.
