Thank you to all parents that joined us last night for our 2022-2023 Meet & Greet. We had 334 families join us. What a great turn out! We're excited to see everyone again on Monday morning for our First Day of School.

Parents, we know that you are excited to bring your little Mustangs back to school on Monday. We will be allowing parents to escort them to class between 7:15-8:00 on 8/8 and 8/9. Please make sure that you help them become independent learners and setting them up for success by leaving by 8:10 am so teachers can start their instructional day and start classroom relationship building activities. Per district, parents will not need to Raptor on the first 2 days, however, please recall that general protocols require all visitors present IDs and go through our RAPTOR system.

Make sure you've let your child's teacher know how he/she will be going home (if you were unable to attend Meet and Greet, you can send a note on Monday with your child).

Please help LABEL all jackets, water bottles, and pencil cases/pouches.

Please, DO NOT park in the staff parking spots so teachers will not be late getting into their classrooms. Thank you!

Would you like to have a picture of your child’s First Day of School at Martin Elementary? Send the money with your child on Monday. Cost - $5.00 per picture Pictures will be sent home with your child.

Parents, thank you for your reading and adhering to our dismissal procedures. Car rider tags are yellow, orange or green this year. Please discard all previous car rider tags as we have new colors and numbers. Make sure your tag is hanging in the windshield of your car. If your windows are tinted please make sure you have your window down so that staff are able to read your students name. Please follow the map for dismissal that is included in this newsletter and see below for other reminders. Thank you for helping us make dismissal a smooth process this year. We would like to thank you in advance for your patience and understanding the first week of school as we work through any dismissal kinks.

• Breakfast – Free for all enrolled students.

• Lunch - Free for all free or reduced enrolled students & Paid enrolled students will be charged $1.00.
