Capitol Hosted a Winter Wonderland
Winter wonderland is THE spring semester Family Learning Night. The goal is that families engage with their children in meaningful learning activities. STEM, Reading, Art, Math, and Science Activities were done in the gym and families stopped in the library which was decorated as a snowy winter night to pick up their free book and snuggle under a blanket and read together. Hot cocoa and frozen treats were served in the cafeteria
Levelland Intermediate student's excel in Reading! As of February 13, 2018, the following student's have achieved 100+ AR points and have earned a special place in the "Accelerated Reader Point Club."
LIS students participated in the 2018 Texas Conservation Award Program Poster Contest. The 2018 theme was "Healthy Soils are Full of Life."

A small group of girls from Mrs. Rejino's science class attended the TECH SAVVY conference at Texas Tech
The conference encourages girls interests in STEM fields. These girls selected their workshops of interest. Here are some of the workshops the girls attended: Biology, Forensics, Engineering, Wind Engineering, Chemistry, Atmospheric Science, and Psychology.

LMS 2018 Spelling Bee
LMS Spelling Bee Top Two: Brooke Baldwin winner, Ian Guthrie runner-up.
The participants competed in four rounds. The winning word was pecan.
Sadie Mendoza and Spencer Ownens Performed in Austin with the All-State Band. Sadie Was 2nd Chair, and Spencer was 12th.

Levelland Lobos Had A Great Season Making It to the Regional Quarterfinal Game #TheLoboWay The Lobos Concluded the Season at 22-11
Culinary Arts Competed at the Llano Estacado Winery Chocolate Fantasia
The Lion Cake won Artistic Merit Award/Overall Best of Show (Mica Rendon, Mica Barragon, Alex Young). These young ladies also won a cash prize and a scholarship.
