8th Grade - Important HS Information
All students assigned to East Gaston had a permission form attached to their report card which came home Thursday. Please return this permission form in order to attend a freshman orientation at EG on Wednesday.
East Gaston has planned a Rising 9th Grade Registration Information Night on Wednesday, March 22nd at 5:30 p.m. Students will receive registration cards at the informational meeting. Students attending East Gaston will complete registration on March 29th and 30th at Stanley Middle School during school hours. 8th grade students not assigned to EG will complete registration prior to Spring Break. When we get information from other high schools we will share it with students.
MARK YOUR CALENDAR
Students staying for after school events must be picked up NO LATER than 15 minutes after the event ends in order to continue attending activities after school.

Cell Phone/Wireless Devices Policy Reminder
Therefore, the expectation is that if parents allow students to bring phones to school that they remain in their bookbag, OFF and AWAY, from the time they arrive at school until they leave at the end of the day. Students with communicati9on devices on watches are not to use communication devices during the school day.
