Quote of the Week...

"Problem solving has been defined as knowing what to do when you don't know what to do."

Redford the Red Bird Recipient - Katie Burns

"For being the consummate professional supporting technology integration! She makes my job flow seamlessly whenever I am in the building and makes teachers' jobs easier with all the behind-the-scenes support." - Fred Allard

Modeling Mathematical Thinking

Click here to access an article that will be used as an opener at Math CLT meetings this week. It provides another perspective for how we can help our students develop their ability to explain their math thinking. It is also a great reminder for understanding that students don’t come to us knowing how to think critically. It’s part of our job to help them develop analytical skills right along with the math content.
