The forest is a great place for animals to live. The climate is humid and it consistly rains a lot. It's rains 40-52 inches a year. There are many animals there such as otters, frogs, Bobcats, squirrels, foxes, and much more. Some of the native plants are Rock maple, Whitebark maple, Western yarrow, and many more. People all over the world can go to any forest and explore.
Weathering is the process where rock is dissolved, worn away or broken down into sediment. An example is rivers and wind can break down rocks into sediment.
Erosion is the movement of weathered rocks by natural forces. An example is moving water from the rivers erode sediment.
Deposition is soil and rocks are added to a landform. An example is seasonal floods can move plants and soil to new places.
Why You Should Visit the Forest
The forest is very diverse place to visit. It is a great place to explore different plants and animals. The forest is good place to take a break and relax. You can find rare plants in the forest. It's beautiful to see all the wonderful things.
