Principal's Update
Hello Team WB!
What a happy, fun week at Gretchko this has been! Our annual Book Fair generated lots of exciting reading and happy kiddos. I had selected one book as my favorite (see below) and I had some fun delivering it to those kiddos who chose it from the book fair. Kids will hear a read aloud of this book from me next week!
We had a fantastic field trip to WBHS to see Fairy Tale Courtroom this week. Students learned what the play was about before they went and students came back very excited to have been able to enjoy the experience. We would like to thank our PTO for purchasing our tickets! The funds will go to support the WB Theater Department so they are able to continue providing great experiences for students.
Thanks to grant funding acquired by Rebecca Heitsch and The Greater West Bloomfield Community Coalition, our Kdg/Kdg+ kiddos will be getting 30 minutes of yoga once a week starting in January and continuing for 8 weeks!
And, to top it all off, Nic Fraylick's WBHS high school science class will be coming to visit and do presentations with second grade students on Thursday, the 15th of December.
Enjoy this weekend!
Warmly,
Jen Teal, Principal
