AP Exams
One Last AP Exam This Week! Please be sure to check on Tuesday 5/19 for your e-ticket for Thursday's AP World History Exam. Before the exam on May 21 at 1 pm make sure you are ready and prepared. Practice submitting your responses using the demo, review the checklist and the posted test taking tips from College Board.
Updates to AP Testing from College Board:
- Beginning Monday, May 18, and continuing through the makeup window, there will be a backup email submission process for browser-based exams.
- This option will only be available for students who were not able to submit in the standard process—and they must then email their responses immediately following their exam.
- These students will see instructions about how to email their response on the page that says, "We Did Not Receive Your Response." The email address that appears on this page will be unique to each student.
- Any student testing between May 18–22 who can't successfully upload their response through the exam platform or send it to us by email, will need to request a makeup exam.
- To protect the security and validity of exams, we're unable to accept submissions from students who tested May 11–15. However, these students can feel confident that the email option will be in place for them during the makeup exams.
The College Board has released a Testing Guide with comprehensive information regarding accessing and submitting online AP exams. Students will receive an AP ID and testing e-ticket via email 2 days prior to each exam, and students should verify their email address on My AP at myap.collegeboard.com.
Please see below for the calendar of AP exams for Jasper HS courses.
Computer Science Principles:
There will be no multiple-choice exam in Computer Science Principles–the AP Exam score will be computed from the Create and Explore Performance Tasks. The deadline for submission of Performance Questions in the Digital Portfolio to the College Board is May 26 at 10:59 p.m. However, to allow teachers time to review uploaded files, students will need to submit all Create PT files by 11:59 p.m. on Monday, May 18. Please note the additional Computer Science Principles info that you have previously received from your CSP teacher.

Moving This Summer?
Are you planning to move over the summer? If you don’t think you’ll be attending school in Plano ISD in August, please complete a “Next Year Notification” form. Please email the form to Petra.Morgan@pisd.edu by May 22nd.
If you are moving to another location within Plano ISD attendance boundaries, you must have an approved transfer to return to Jasper in August. If you have already moved and have not updated your address with Jasper, please provide a current gas or electricity bill to the Counseling office as soon as possible so that we can update your address. Jasper High School mail will be delivered during the summer and we want to be certain that it is being sent to the correct address.
VOE Requests
The district has developed an online process for students who wish to request a Verification of Enrollment (VOE) form. While we understand that the Department of Public Safety has temporarily suspended the VOE requirement for students seeking their driver's license, this process will be available for students to request a VOE form beginning Monday, May 18. Students may make a request online at https://myforms.pisd.edu/Forms/VOE and the form will be completed and returned to the student via email.
If you wish to obtain a VOE for the summer, complete the form no later than 5:00 pm on Thursday, May 21st. Requests after that date will be processed when possible over the summer, but cannot be guaranteed by a specific date.
