CONGRATULATIONS BRITTNEY!!!
Hello Emerging Adult Parents and Students of MBSC,
Each week I get the opportunity of sharing our faith with some of the brightest, most gifted, and thought-provoking Teens that any community has to offer. For five years now, it has been a tremendous privilege to play a small role in their faith formation.
Today I would like to acknowledge one of our leaders, and one of our brightest Emerging Adult Ministry students at Most Blessed Sacrament Church. Her name is Ms. Brittney Jones, and she is a graduating senior. Brittney will be attending the College of Coastal Georgia in Brunswick, Ga in the fall. Brittney is undecided on a major but is strongly leaning towards the field of nursing because of her desire to help others, particularly children and the physically disabled.
As Brittney's Youth Minister, I can attest to the fact that Brittney has a true servant's heart. I have watched Brittney serve this faith community, and her family, with a grace and willingness that is exemplary of the faith and teachings that we profess. Brittney has contributed to our Emerging Adult group over the years that have made my time here both fulfilling and enlightening. As with all of our Emerging Adults, Brittney has left a mark on my life, and an indelible impression of what compassionate service looks like.
I write this with great joy knowing what God has in store for Ms. Brittney Jones. Yet, with great sadness, as we will miss her example, her voice, and her faith within our Emerging Adults program. The Most Blessed Sacrament community should be proud to be a part of her amazing journey. Congratulations Brittney!!! I know that you will do well going forward, and will impact the College of Coastal Georgia community as you have done at Most Blessed Sacrament Church.
Thank You,
Lyndon Batiste
