PUSD School Closures
As PUSD schools remain closed, we hope you and your loved ones are remaining healthy and safe. We miss seeing our students in the hallways and in our classrooms. Our teachers have been in communication with your students via email sending enrichment activities. We hope they are finding these activities helpful during these unprecedented times.
PUSD has compiled additional learning resources for all grade levels. These resources will be a comprehensive collection that includes math, language arts, social studies, and science, as well as art and P.E. The site also offers sample daily/weekly schedules that you can customize for your own family. Click here to access these resources.
As of today, all Poway Unified schools will remain closed through April 3rd. We will be sure to notify you of any changes. MVMS is adhering to the governor's stay-at-home order therefore our campus will be closed. There will be no staff on-site to assist parents or students during this time.

INFORMATION FOR 8TH GRADERS
8th Grade Transition To High School
It’s that time of year that we begin to start planning for our 8th graders transition to high school. If you have an older child and have been through this, you are probably more at ease than a parent who is approaching this transition for the first time. Our 8th graders often feel great anticipation and excitement as they make the last major transition within their K-12 education. We hope that the information below eases any questions that you might be having. The MVMS Counselors and HS Counselors are here to help and guide you and your 8th grader through this transition.
