keeping our families in the school loop
Greetings from Tokyo International Progressive School
Hello from the principal's desk.
"Over the moon" is how we at school are feeling about the success of our crowdfunding. Thank you so much to our donors. Yes, donors gave resources, but they also gave moral support and faith in what we do.
Even more financial support came from our Activity Committee and Entrepreneurship (ACE) class, which raises small amounts of money on a daily basis. The students of ACE class made the decision to make a very generous donation to buy and install a remotely controlled, permanently mounted projector that will project from the ceiling of the Common Room in the new campus. A photo below shows me handing over a small token of the school's appreciation to each of the workers of ACE. Their work on barbecues, movies, the student store and our lunch service allowed us to get this projector. Thank you, students!
On another note, I’ve been hearing from parents about some issues their teenagers and children are having at home, and was wondering if a casual group session online with other parents with the school counselor, Ms. Emiko Kakimoto, to talk about how other families are handling and coping with these issues would help. If anyone’s interested, please contact Ms. Kakimoto at email@example.com !
Any questions, please ask!
We are anxiously awaiting the shipment of the Lands' End spirit wear embroidered with the TIPS logo for sale in our student store. The PSA will be giving you more details about when you may make your purchase.
I hope to see everyone at our next PSA meeting, which will be Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. I will attend from 11 a.m. with the principal's report.
