History of Singapore
Singapore was founded as a British trading colony in 1819. In 1821 it became independent and is now known as one of the most busiest ports in the world. Singapore is made up of mostly Chinese, but there is also Malay and Indian minorities.

Lee formed the People Actions Party to attract he following of the poor. He was prime minister for 31 years. Lee also made many economic growth and diversification.
