The 4th Grade News
Week of December 7th, 2015
A Note from Ms. Deal
Dear Parents,
What a fun filled week! I enjoyed seeing many of you on Tuesday night. I was so impressed by the Snow Biz performance! Everyone sang and danced like professionals!
Our holiday party will be Thursday, December 17th at 12:30. Please send in a healthy snack for the students to share. We hope to see you there!
We have been hard at work publishing our folktales and creating indigenous culture artifacts. A lot of creating going on here in 4th grade. We have decided that we will only be inviting students to the Museum Walk this Wednesday. Since many of you will be in on Thursday for the party, the students would love to share their work with you that day. Thank you for understanding.
This week P.E. will be on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Please let meek now if you have any questions.
Thank you,
Ms. Deal

Writing: This week we are publishing our folktales
Reading: This week the students read more folktales. Reader's theaters have been extra exciting this week. Students have scripts were they each play a role in a folktale and preform them for the class! They continue to identify the plot, setting, main characters and the moral of these stories.
Social Studies
The students have really enjoyed making their artifacts this week. We have spent a lot of time collecting materials and creating unique artifacts from their indigenous culture.
