Community Garden Planting
Saturday, April 9th, 9am-12pm
2300 Ridgecrest Drive
Join us on Saturday morning, April 9th, at 9:00am as we plant our Community Garden for the second year. The beds are ready for planting. If you would like to bring a flower or vegetable to plant, that would be great. All are welcome
RSVPs are enabled for this event.
Volunteers are need to help in planting, weeding, and tending the community garden. Contact Anna or Charles Nokes or sign up on the sheet in the Narthex.
A bulletin board has been placed in the Narthex requesting donations for our Community Garden. Please take a flower and donate the items requested.
- We have a special day planned for our next Connection Sunday on Sunday, April 24th following worship. Please plan to attend and find out what's in the Treasure Chest in the Narthex. There is enough for everyone!!
- We still have some vacancies in our Dalewood Creative Preschool Program if you are interested. It is a Monday and Wednesday, 9am-3pm weekly program for 12 months to Pre-K aged children. Please call Lisa @ 615-336-5467 or email her @firstname.lastname@example.org
- We are staring a new program for o ur Youth called "Support Group" on Friday, April 22 from 6pm t0 8pm at Cory Martin's home at 2600 Sandy Dr. It will be a fun night of food, open dialog and hope. Invite your friends to join us.
Our next opportunity for Supper 'n Serve will be on Wednesday, April 27th at 6pm. The Serve Team is asking for suggestions for service projects. If you have a suggestion, please contact David Calvo.
Make plans to join us for worship on Sunday, April 10th as we welcome the Children's Choir from the Northern Kentucky School of Music of Immanuel UMC in Lakeside Park, KY. You won't want to miss this special day of music.
We received a check from the Kroger Rewards program this week for $216.52. This is free money. All you have to do is sign up Kroger with your membership card and shop. We receive a cash percentage of your purchase. You can sign up by visiting their customer service counter or by going to link above. It does't cost anything and helps the church.
We continue to be in prayer for Billye Willette (cancer treatment), Joyce Yates (fall), Helen Neely (pneumonia), Justice Frohock (broken elbow/surgery), Kathy Hatton (Edna Turner's daughter) broken ankle/surgery,Lisa Johnson (surgery) and Ann Luna (pneumonia).
