WWA's Weekly Newsletter
Week of March 13th, 2023
WWA's Mission: “Ensure all students are learning at high levels.”
Dear Parents,
Thank you to all of our parents who were able to join us for our SOAR Assembly this past Thursday. It was a great day to celebrate students and all the work they have put in over the last quarter. Additionally a big thank you to our PTSO and all the support for recognizing our students and staff during the assembly.
On Friday our MPO provided a lunch for the teachers and staff here at WWA. Thank you to the MPO for supporting our amazing teachers and staff here at Whispering Wind Academy!
Thank you to all of our parents and students for your understanding and support this past week with the implied threat that took place at WWA. Our first priority is student and staff safety which is causing us to make a change moving forward. Starting March 20th, students will no longer be able to walk into the cafeteria for breakfast from the south parking lot. Students only will be allowed to walk around the back of the building to the lunchroom hallway to enter the cafeteria. If a parent determines they need to accompany their child to breakfast, you will need to check in through the front office. This change is being made to ensure that our student and staff safety remain our top priority.
