5th grade Parent Information!
Links below are for parents of 5th graders. The choice of elective subject period for 6th grade opens on March 27th and closes on April 6th. Parents and students go in on Skyward and select an elective class (typically art, band, choir, or theater) for their next-year school. Mr. Petras will plan to give a presentation to the 5th graders about next week-these documents have all the information needed (including click sheets) for choice of subject. Reach out to Mr. Petras if you have questions! Thank you for helping make the transition to middle school a success!

Principal's Corner
This is a reminder that there may only be 1 adult attend parent lunches on FRIDAY. We just do not have enough space to house multiple people. We have a new data clerk in the office that was not aware of the rule- so if you were able to have 2 last week, you will not be allowed 2 moving forward. Thanks!

- The Title I Parent & Family Engagement Survey window is now open! The data gathered in the Title I Survey is a vital tool in measuring parent perceptions and knowledge of the Title I, Part A Program, and it should be utilized as part of the Comprehensive Needs Assessment. We have sent the survey home in paper form!

School Store Fundraiser!
Your child is bringing home a Parent Information Envelope letting you know about a safe and easy way for our school to raise funds for essential tools our students and teachers need to succeed.
The SchoolStore fundraiser is 100% online so there is NO face-to-face selling, handling money, or delivering products. Your participation will take less than 12 minutes, and there are exciting prizes to make it fun for the students.
Here is all you need to do to participate:
1. Go to https://www.schoolstore.net/sid.t?0000184062 to sign up.
2. Send form emails inviting family, friends and co-workers to support your child.
3. Return the Envelope with the Student Prize Code to school for your child to get their fun participation prize.

Attendance Reminders
Reminder that once a student reaches 10 unexcused absences, the will be referred for truancy court.
In addition, state law required students to meet 90% attendance for the school year or will risk being retained for the school year- this applies to excused and unexcused absences.

PLEASE REMEMBER THE FOLLOWING EXPECTATIONS:
You must be on the student’s family or emergency contact list in order to attend lunch with the student. Please bring in your driver’s license or passport always.
Please do not take photos while in the cafeteria, unless it is with the student that you are visiting. No other children should be in the photos.
You may only sit with the student that you are visiting. No other student may be invited to sit with you and your student.
Please do not address any other students while in the cafeteria.
- We do not take CREDIT or DEBIT cards and you may not use money on the student account!
