The Third Grade TEXAN

Week of April 11

Here's What We're Working On:

This week in Reader’s Workshop we will spend time analyzing text. We will focus on informational text and folktales.

Our Lil' Texans will review what's included in an Expository Essay, analyze examples, and brainstorm ideas for their prompt.

This week our third grade mathematicians will be working with money and how to make different combinations to form the same amount. We will also be using the Associative Property of Multiplication to solve multiplication problems.

This week in science we will review life cycles of plants and animals. We will analyze the life cycles to look for similarities and differences.

We're Going on a Field Trip!

Don't forget to return your child's permission form and money for the field trip. The last day to turn in these items is Wednesday, April 13th.
