Monday, October 11--Student Holiday (Teacher In-Service Day)
Hello Foothill Community!
In this memo you will find lots of information. We have a Dine and Donate tomorrow, Tuesday, October 5; I am hosting a Virtual Visit w/Vaiana this Friday, October 8 at 8:30am; the intradistrict transfers for 6th-12th grade window is open, and so much more. Please read below.

Finally an opportunity to get our library books to your student!
- Your child can log onto the catalog and look for a book.
- Once they find the book they'd like they need to fill out this form to reserve and check out a library reading book.
- Reservations must be in by Tuesdays 8:00 am for pickup during Advisory on Thursdays.
- Ask your advisory teacher for a pass to pickup your library book on Thursday.

Looking for a job midday?
Last week we had Admin talks by grade level in Advisory classes
Face coverings: All indoor spaces
Hallways, classrooms, multi use room, gym, locker room, bathrooms, OFFICE, library and media center
Blacktop
No food (you can be finishing items but NO containers)
Sport locations:
Basketball on courts
Football and volleyball far end (east side by the Creek)
Back of the gym and side may be used as a ball wall for tennis balls and soccer balls only
NO baseballs, lacrosse balls.
Lunch time
Hallways are all closed (exception when teachers host activities--must be supervised)
Snack food lines. No reserving spots. Get in line at the end of the line.
YOU are responsible for your garbage:
Do NOT leave garbage on lunch tables (inside and outside)
Three types of garbage on campus: compost, recycling, landfill
NO throwing of any food.
Don’t take food you won’t eat.
Cell phones
Bell to bell policy--OFF
Only when approved and supervised by a teacher within your classroom.
No posting on Social Media.
No filming of other students or self.
Chromebooks
Away at lunch--downtime from screen time.
Protect it from any damage (liquids and food).
If you have a problem you need help with:
Student statements (in office)
Anonymous tip-line on website on homepage.
Email counselor, admin, teachers.
Advisory Period:
Time for help, support, work with classmates on group projects, etc.
Must prearrange with the teacher and you will receive a pass.
Will check in with assigned teacher for attendance first.
School Donations at the Foothill MS Webstore
Foothill Middle School appreciates the support families provide through donations for our classes. All Donations are collected through the Foothill MS Webstore, found at that link or on our homepage.
- Donations provide materials, which include licensing, software programs, and supplies; this is especially true of elective classes.
- All the materials (whether tangible or not) are designed to aid students in learning and developing their skills.
- These are ONLY for Foothill MS students. Donations do not feed into the District funds. T
- All donations are tax deductible (tax ID#68-0091157). Any contribution is greatly appreciated.
This is not the PFA ED Fund.
