We are going to be having a lot of fun this week while learning!

Monday, we will have a Reindeer Day! We will be making reindeer hats and putting together reindeer food all while learning bout reindeer.

Tuesday will be Grinch Day! We will read the book How the Grinch Stole Christmas, complete a writing activity on how to make the Grinch grin, and learn about adjectives.

Wednesday we will read How Santa Got His Job and learn about jobs. Then we will fill out a job application to be an elf for Santa

Thursday will be our class Holiday Party! That morning we will be working on retelling with The Biggest Snowman. Time permitting, we will complete an activity where the students use the 3 parts of the snowman's body to retell the story.

Friday will be our Polar Express Day! Your child may wear PJs to school! Be sure to send tennis shoes for PE and Recess.

Woohoo! Test is over!

We will be reviewing this week. We will be discussing any of the problems that seemed difficult for the students and then going back through to review other math topics we have covered this year.

We will be finishing up our unit on energy!

Social Studies

We will continue our travels around the world. We did not make it to Israel this week, so we will start of there! Then we will be learning about Kwanzaa!
