Be A Fan Club Meeting is Wednesday!

The next Be A Fan club meeting will be held on Wednesday, December 8 at 8 a.m. in the Little Theatre. Be sure to wear your best or worst holiday sweater!

Driver's Permit Test - December 8

Calvin Coolidge Presidential Foundation

This scholarship is for 11th grade students

Any high school junior who plans to enroll in college in the fall of 2023 and is an American citizen or legal permanent resident is eligible to apply. Coolidge Scholars are selected primarily on academic excellence. They must also be interested in public policy. The winner of the Coolidge Scholarship will receive a full-ride scholarship to any accredited U.S. college or university. More information, including the application, is available here. The deadline for this scholarship is January 19, 2022.

Alert: the application requires that candidates read President Coolidge’s Autobiography and complete a few other reading assignments. Students are encouraged to start the application process early.

FREE Peer Lead Math Tutoring

Free, Peer Lead Math Tutoring in Algebra and Geometry is available in room A111 every afternoon (except Fridays and Collaborative Planning Days). Students are welcome to arrive after the dismissal bell and stay until 4:45 p.m. All students attending must bring work/homework to complete. Math tutoring is meant to assist you, by guiding your independent practice of work assigned to you by your math teacher! Math tutors do not teach new math skills, but may help you to deepen the understanding of new skills you have learned from your teacher! Questions? See Ms. Klopfer in A111 for more details.

Scholarships are awarded and applicants may participate in one of the following discipline areas: creative writing, dance, music, theatre, or visual arts. To compete, students should submit an original and two copies of the original composition and process folio for the creative writing, dance, music, or theatre categories. For the visual arts category, mail one original composition and a process folio.

Entries must be received by 5 p.m. or postmarked on or before Monday, February 21, 2022.
