"Love challenges, be intrigued by mistakes, enjoy effort and keep on learning." - Carol Dweck
With Appreciation:
Big thanks to all of you for the work you do daily to support our students,
staff and Colt community!
Field Trip Reminders
- Field Trip Food Request forms are due 14 days before your field trip
- Please work with Rosa to coordinate the picking up of lunches before you head out
- Please stop in the office before you head out on a field trip to be sure you have all medical paperwork, and to ensure any meds have been picked up
- Field trip forms are linked in our Staff Portal under "Filing Cabinet" > "Helpful Info & Policy Info" > alpha under F
Quick Reminders
- If you plan to order items with 2019-20 funds, you can turn in POs before school is out and we'll process them in late July/early August!
- The district nurse has indicated that students can bring their own sunscreen & chapstick to school. Three rules with the sunscreen - no aerosols, they have to be able to apply it without help from staff/peers, and students cannot share their sunscreen with peers. I sent out a reminder again that students CANNOT bring OTC or prescription allergy (or other meds) to school. If you see this happening, please let Jen know ASAP so we can follow up with the family
- Please take 20 seconds to fill this out: click here - we need a response from EVERY certificated and classified staff member!
- Volunteer Breakfast is on Tuesday, 5/21 from 7:30-8:30 am in the Library - get the invite here; see the email sent on 4/28 for all the details
- Lunch with Colts - if every student in your class has had lunch with Jen & Kristen this year, feel free to offer the lunch spot to a students for a second time - perhaps as an incentive for excellent behavior, a reward for meeting an academic goal, or just because the kiddo could use a little extra attention. We'll be lunching with students through Th., 5/30.
