Kindergarten Placements Tentative
This is the beginning of a very exciting, very important journey for your child. It is the first year of his or her educational career and we are privileged to be part of it. One of the best ways we can support every child's success is to have balanced classrooms. With little or no information on many of our students prior to entering school, it is sometimes necessary to move students around after the first two weeks. We would like all families to be aware that placements in the first two weeks of school are tentative and subject to change. Fortunately, the Kindergarten team has community times in which they meet and work with ALL students. Changes are carefully considered and the transitions are smooth. We thank you in advance for your cooperation and support.

Online Payment System (credit card access with no added fees!)
A convenient and secure way to pay for a variety of student fees
Online Payment System
Beaverton School District is implementing the Online Payment System for all schools. Using a Visa debit or credit card, you may make secure online payments for your students with no transaction fees. You will be able to access the Online Payment System at https://or-beaverton.intouchreceipting.com to pay:
· Student fees – athletic, student body, band, field trip, etc.
· Fines – lost library book, lost textbook
· Donations to programs and activities
To access the system, you must have an active ParentVUE account. If you do not have a ParentVUE account, contact your school for an Activation Key code. Once the ParentVUE account is created, it may take up to 24 hours for the Online Payment System account to be activated. Please know that the Office will be mailing out Parent Activation Letters to each household who's parents ARE NOT yet set up. These will be included in the Welcome Back mailings in late August. PLEASE look for these letters. They are informing you of your "new" activation code.

Reminders
Student Bus Information Changing? Transportation has been working on bus schedules throughout the summer. If you know that your student will need a daycare pick up or drop off stop that is NOT the student’s home address, please notify the office as soon as possible. The sooner we have this information, the sooner we can input this into the system. Changes can take up to 10 days to take effect.
Will you want to volunteer at school? If you are new to volunteering and you know that you might want to volunteer at some point during the school year, this is a reminder that everyone must fill out the Better Impact volunteer background application. If you have already done the Better Impact background check, then you are good to go.
Do you know of changes to your students' information? Please remember to let the office know of any changes to your students' information. This includes a new address, new phone numbers, change of emergency contact numbers, etc. The Office will be open limited hours during the summer and phone messages will be picked up once a week.
