Harworking Hornets!

6th Grade

Student's in Ms. Lerner's class did a Book Tasting that allowed them to “taste” different genres of books to create a list of books they would like to read next. The room was decorated to look like a cafe and students explored topics outside their comfort zone or found a new one they could get into.

Disclaimer- Students were only allowed to take down their mask if they were eating their cupcake; it went right back on when they were done.

Last week, Officer Thompson visited the sixth-grade classrooms, including Ms. Xayaphone's (pictured below), to give a presentation on law enforcement and advice for young people, and a Q&A session. Officer Thompson was awesome and we are so glad to have him on our campus!
