Partnering With Our Community
The School District of New Richmond’s School Nutrition Department has partnered with local, state, and national entities to provide food service options for our community through the summer months.
1) FREE MEALS FOR CHILDREN 18 AND UNDER WILL CONTINUE
- Every Wednesday, July 8th – August 12th
- Drive through service 11:00 – 1:00
- New Richmond High School Main Entrance Loop
- Meal bags will contain 5 days’ worth of breakfast, lunch, and milk
- Starr Elementary 11:00 – 1:00
- Deer Path Townhomes 10:45-11:15
- Croft Place Apartments 11:20 – 11:50
- The Centre 11:55 – 12:25
- Star Prairie (village parking lot) 12:35 – 1:05
· Partners: USDA Seamless Summer Option
2) FREE PRODUCE FOR ALL FAMILIES IN JULY
- Every Thursday, July 9th – July 30th
- Drive through service 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
- Starr Elementary Bus Loop
- 1 box (12’’ x 9’’) of fresh produce provided to each family (Produce options vary)
- Partners: United Way, Food Wise, UW Extension, New Richmond Kiwanis
3) HAPPY KIDS BACKPACK PROGRAM AVAILABLE IN JULY
*Only available to families enrolled
- Every Thursday, July 9th – July 30th
- Drive through service 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
- Starr Elementary Bus Loop
- 1 bag of non-perishable food items provided to each family (Food options vary)
· Partners: New Richmond Happy Kids Backpack Program, Five Loaves Food Shelf, Sheridan Story, St. Croix Valley Charities, First National Community Bank
