Next Week is PHASE IN WEEK
1st and 2nd graders come to school Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday next week. 1st and 2nd grade students DO NOT come to school on Monday.
Kindergarten students start school on Wednesday and will come to school Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Morning Arrival and After School Dismissal
Arrival and dismissal are a busy time at Cottonwood Creek. Please partner with us to ensure our students, staff and community are safe.
Arrival:We begin our day with a soft start. Students may arrive at school starting at 7:45AM. Please do not arrive prior to this time. Students enter the building through the door closest to their classroom. All students are expected to be in their classrooms by 8:00AM. If students are not in the building by 8:00AM, they will need to enter through the main entrance and will be marked tardy.
Drop Off and Pick Up Lane:All cars will enter the drop off/pick up lane as indicated on the map below and create a single file lane. Please follow the directions of staff and signage.
- Students must enter and exit the right side of the car. Other people in the car MUST remain in the car at all times.
- Please load and unload in the "LOADING ZONE" as indicated by signs.
- Please pull all the way forward to the last sign.
Dismissal: ALL elementary students are dismissed at 2:45pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. On Wednesday, ALL elementary students are dismissed at 1:45pm. Our staff and teachers have after school meetings and commitments starting promptly after dismissal each day. Please be sure to be on time.
- Students will be escorted by their teacher and exit the door closest to their classroom.
- Kindergarten and 1st Grade Walkers: Families are encouraged to meet there child outside of the door closest to their child's classroom.
- 2nd through 5th Grade Walkers: Families are encouraged to designate a space to meet their child.
- Students who are to be picked up in the pick up lane, will be directed to the "LOADING ZONE". Staff will be there to supervise students.
Crosswalks: We will have crossing guards at two locations. If you are crossing E. Orchard Road, at arrival and/or dismissal, PLEASE cross at one of these two locations.

- E. Orchard Road and S. Kingston Way

Please join us Wednesday, August 18th at 8:00am for "Kisses & Cheers" on the Kindergarten/1st Grade pavilion as we celebrate the start of your child's Cottonwood Creek Experience!
Celebrating our Students
Our Cottonwood Creek values guide our behaviors and actions. Our teachers will recognize and celebrate your children throughout the year. As we do, we ask that you help us honor the following:
Please coordinate with your classroom teacher on any specifics for their grade level.
All food items must be individually wrapped and prepackaged by the manufacturer with nutritional information.
Birthday parties are not permitted during the instructional school day.
