Field Day - POSTPONED TO 11/1
Good afternoon Burden Family,
We have been watching the weather closely and have decided to postpone Field Day to Friday, November 1. If you filled out the Google form to check out your student early, we will carry those names over and you don't need to fill it out again. We will open the form back up until October 28 if you would like another opportunity to fill it out. Click https://forms.gle/qdZgxMV6wo47MNE69 to fill out the form.
The PE Department has worked hard to create an outdoor day of Field Day fun for our students. Thank you for your understanding. We look forward to seeing you all on November 1!

BBE Veteran's Day Celebration
Veteran's Day is a very special day on the BBE campus. This year we will build a Wall of Honor to celebrate our campus Veterans. We will send home a copy of the Wall of Honor forms next Thursday, October 17 or you can print below.
We are also excited to bring you a Veteran’s Day assembly, hosted by our 4th graders, on Monday, November 11, 2019 at 8:00 a.m. We will begin gathering in the back circle by the playground. Students will enter the building as normal and walk out with their classes. Any parents and Veterans entering the school after the ceremony will need to badge in. All parents are welcome to attend and join us at the back circle, as the 4th grade students will perform in honor of our Veterans. Please feel free to send your child to school wearing red, white, and blue on that day to enhance the patriotic feel of the day.
Our performers are also excited to welcome any Veterans to join us for the assembly--loved ones or family members who have served (or are currently serving in) the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, or Coast Guard. We would love for our Veterans to return to class with our students and allow them some time to learn from our heroes. If you are bringing a Veteran, students and their guests should be in the gym at or before 7:30 a.m. so they may be in place for the 7:45 bell. Please let your child's teacher know if you will be planning on visiting the classroom that morning. Thank you so much!
