Davis/Martin Peek at the Week
November 6 - 10
Dear Parents,
Students did a great job writing persuasive essays on Halloween last week! They chose whether they wanted to attend a Halloween party or go trick-or-treating. They had to support their decision, as well as counter-argue the other choice! We will be working on a Thanksgiving essay next!
Students have a word work packet to complete for Spelling each week. It is passed out on Mondays and collected Friday mornings. There are four activities students are responsible for doing. Some days we have a designated time to work on it in the classroom, some days we do not. Students know it is their responsibility to find time throughout the week to complete these tasks, whether it's when their work is finished in class, during extra recess, morning assembly, or at home.
Bookworm Buddies will meet in the library on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. Don't forget to bring your books! Makeup pictures will be THIS Friday, November 10th.
