CALL FOR PRESENTERS!
GENERAL OVERVIEW
RSOI is pleased to announce that the annual TIES Conference, Therapy in Educational Settings, will be held on April 12 & 13, 2018 at the Valley River Inn, Eugene, OR. Keynote speaker for April 12 is Judith Schoonover. Judith Schoonover is an occupational therapist and former elementary school teacher. She is certified as an assistive technology professional (ATP) by RESNA and is a founding member of the Loudoun County Public Schools Assistive Technology Team. Judith has worked in schools for more than 40 years. She has authored articles and chapters and has presented on the topics of school-based occupational therapy, transition, literacy, and assistive technology nationally.
You are invited to submit a session proposal for a TIES Conference session to be held on Friday, April 13, 2018. It is in the sharing of our work and innovations that we develop best practices and change systems! In addition to national keynote speakers, many Oregon experts and innovators share their knowledge at TIES! Perhaps you have never considered yourself a presenter. We encourage you to step outside of your comfort zone and let your peers know about your meaningful work. Even the most seasoned presenters started with a single step.
The deadline for submission is Friday, February 2, 2018. One presenter for each session receives a free registration to the TIES Conference. For more information, please contact RSOI at one of the emails below.
