GLHS TV Programs Earn Nominations
18 Student Emmy Nominations for GLHS
The Gahanna Lincoln High School television program has received 18 High School Student Production Award nominations from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Ohio Valley Chapter!
Recipients of the Student Emmys will be announced during a virtual presentation on Sunday, July 24, 2022. Winning entries from the Ohio Valley Chapter's High School Student Production Awards are automatically entered in the National Student Production Awards competition to be held later this year.
All three TV classes at Lincoln High School are represented in the nominations.

GJPS Preschool Accepting Applications for Peer Models
Peer Models Ages 3/4 Wanted
The Gahanna-Jefferson PRESCHOOL at Clark Hall has spots available for peer models in the MORNING (8:30 - 11:15) and AFTERNOON (12:30 - 3:15) programs for ages 3-4.
Peer Model Requirements:
- Must be potty trained
- Must be 3.5 years old by August 1, 2022
- Plays with toys appropriately
- Enjoys playing with other children
- Makes wants and needs known
- Interacts well with other children
- Follows simple directions
- Answers questions

Lincoln Elementary Ribbon Cutting Ceremony: June 2021
While the new school year will be here before we know it, we want to take some time over the next few weeks to enjoy some of our favorite stories from the 2021-22 school year.
First up is the opening of our brand new Lincoln Elementary. The new school on Helmbright Drive was dedicated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on June 5 and opened to students on August 12, 2021.
Phase Two Projects
Building Pride for Our Future
In November 2020, voters in the Gahanna-Jefferson Public Schools district approved a bond and operating levy to fund Phase Two of the GJPS Master Facilities Plan.
Phase Two of the Master Facilities Plan Includes:
- Additions and renovations to High Point and Blacklick Elementary
- Additions and renovations to Middle Schools East, South and West
- New Lincoln High School on current site

BinaxNOW At-Home Rapid Test Kits Available for Symptomatic Students and Staff
BinaxNOW At-Home COVID-19 Rapid Test Kits are currently available for students and staff currently enrolled in GJPS schools who are EXHIBITING SYMPTOMS of COVID-19.
REQUEST FORM MUST BE COMPLETED IN ADVANCE
While supplies last, you may request kits for:
The number of students you have enrolled in Gahanna-Jefferson Public Schools in your household who are exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19.
The number of GJPS staff in your household who are exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19.
A confirmation email will not be sent.
PICK-UP TIMES AND LOCATION
After completing a Rapid Test Kit Request Form, kits are available for pick up at:

Please ring the bell inside the front door for service.
