Breakfast provides energy that helps for morning activities and also to prevent that mid morning slump. Studies also show that breakfast can be important in maintaining a healthy body weight. Individuals who skip breakfast are less likely to have a productive and efficient morning.

Those who choose to skip breakfast usually turn to unhealthy snacks to help control the hunger before lunch or will eat much more at their next meal. Ever heard someone say “I missed breakfast, let’s eat a big lunch?” those individuals are not preparing for their day effectively. Breakfast immediately raises the body’s energy level and restores vitamins and minerals in the body that were used up during the night. Even if you are in a rush, a few simple pieces of fruit, a quick granola bar or bowl of cereal should do the trick. However, if you really want to prepare for the day you should set an alarm in the morning that will give you ample time to get yourself ready for the day and also prepare a wholesome and nutritious breakfast.
