On Tuesday, all Jay Stream students will be taking the winter i-Ready reading benchmark test in the morning. In order to provide enough time for all students to complete the assessment, the building will be on a modified schedule. Please note that this schedule will not change student arrival or dismissal time. Students who are absent on Tuesday will makeup the test later in the week. In preparing your student for this test, I recommend the following:

• Get a good night’s sleep
• Eat a healthy breakfast
• Charge MacBook overnight
• Use wired earbuds that plug into the MacBook
• Bring a writing utensil

Glenbard North's incoming family night for 8th grade students is January 11 at 6:30 pm. Students will meet Glenbard North staff and learn about academic courses as well as extracurricular opportunities including clubs and sports.

Our second winter sports seasons will be starting in a few weeks! If your student is interested in participating in Girls Basketball (7-8) or Boys Volleyball (7-8), you must complete the sports commitment form below. A student will not be able to participate in a sport until the form has been submitted and our school nurse has received an updated physical.

The dental van from the DuPage County Health Department will be at Jay Stream on January 20. If you would like your student to have a dental checkup, please contact our school nurse, Mrs. Rosedale. CCSD93's Preschool Registration for the 2023-24 school year will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, January 19, 2023 at CCSD93's Early Childhood Center, 280 Old Gary Ave., Bloomingdale, IL.

If you're in need of a preschool for your child for next school year, look no further than CCSD93's award-winning Early Childhood Center (ECC)!
