FAC Weekly Update
March 17, 2023
Good Morning, FAC Family
We hope that you had a terrific week!
Another milestone is upon us, as we close the 3rd Quarter of the school year, enjoy a well-earned break, and return to only nine more weeks of school. For our FAC students, these nine weeks are packed with performances, art shows, award ceremonies, and more. From our FAC Family to yours, we wish you a restful and rejuvenating Spring Break!
Here’s the latest from the halls of the FAC…
We did it! We met our goal of raising $20,000 by the deadline of 3/17, and will now receive the matching donation of $20,000. That means $40,000 for student support and programming.
Thank you, thank you, thank you to our donors! Thank you to all who spread the word about DOUBLE IT. If you missed the opportunity, you can always make a tax deductible donation at www.facpartners.org.

This Week's Student Leadership Lesson
Three Words that Enhance Continual Learning
1. PREPARATION“Few people think more than two to three times a year. I have made an international reputation by thinking once or twice a week.” –Lilian Vernon
Preparation means asking yourself:
- What are my potential learning moments today?
- What am I learning that I need to learn more about today?
If you study the lives of the truly great individuals who have influenced the world, you will find that in virtually every case, they spend considerable amounts of time alone contemplating, meditating, listening.
3. APPLICATION
Apply immediately everything you learn. Every time you discover something new, ask yourself three questions:
- Where can I use this?
- When can I use it?
- Who needs to know it?
