Activating Transformative Leaders in Communities & Cities

Is Truth Dead?

The cover story of Time magazine was a punch in the face. Is Truth Dead? What is the basis of the story? It is the misinformation and confusion happening through the proliferation of information unmoored to reality that is shared instantly and prolifically through social media. Who are we to believe? Who are we to trust? A major focus for us on October 26 at Q Commons Sacramento will be along this theme. Together we aspire to be truth-seekers. Gladly, as gospel centered leaders, we have a tested source that when background checked proves to be reliable. We strongly recommend you take some time to listen to Dr. Tony Evans share on this source.

Meet National Speaker Kara Powell

We are excited to hear national speaker, Kara Powell, talk on "Confronting Our Technology Addiction". An article recently featured in The Guardian highlights how technology can create an "attention economy" that lowers the ability to choose relationships over the technology around us. Throughout the article former Silicon Valley executives and employees reveal the harmful side of technology and provide background information on how big of an issue technology addiction is for today's generation.

If you are hungry for more information, find the full article here and listen below to the former Q Commons talk where Kara Powell speaks on Numb Generations.

Final Call for Sponsors

Two weeks from the event, we are in need of 4 more table sponsors and 1 premiere sponsor ($2000). Sponsors help make Q Commons happen in the Sacramento region and in cities across the United States. Can you be one who meets our final need? We don't want to sweat the details of what we may or may not have at the event because we don't achieve these goals.
