Celebrate Black History!
The month of February is traditionally dedicated to the legacy of African culture in America. It is celebrated in the U.S. and other parts of the world as a way of honoring important people, events, and achievements of the African diaspora. The theme for 2021 is “The Black Family: Representation, Identity, and Diversity.” We will celebrate this important month with a variety or presentations and activities mainly during morning announcements and Advisory classes. However, all other contents will find ways to incorporate the Black History theme in their lessons. In keeping with this year’s theme, Wilder is continuing to be a wonderful school family that celebrates and honors diversity!
