~ Remind Updates/K Registration/No School Days ~ Feb 2021
Do you have a 5-year-old?
Students who are ready for the rigors of a full day of academics should enroll in Kindergarten while students who need a little more time for emotional, social, and/or academic growth can register for Jr. K. Both programs are free to any SFSD student. (Jr. K is located at JFK, SBA, and Harvey Dunn, but is open to any age-eligible student in the District.)

What's All the BUZZ About?
New Features Make 'Remind' Unforgettable!
SFSD strives to keep families informed! Staff use many tools to communicate. One of those is Remind. New features and functions allow parents to receive school information and updates quickly through the two-way texting app! You may be receiving updates this week to help you connect with Remind about your student's grades, homework assignments, attendance, etc.
Learn more with these Remind Resources:
Other tools used include: SeeSaw, Schoology, Google Classroom, ParentLink/BlackBoard, and Infinite Campus.
National School Counseling Week (Feb. 1-5)
This week is National School Counseling Week! Please help us say THANK YOU to all school counselors! They play an important role in a student's educational experience, teaching problem-solving skills, behavior expectations, and offering career guidance.
Let your school counselor know they are making a difference every day!
