Using Polite Words
This week, let's place an emphasis on using polite words throughout the school all day, every day.
Watch the grade appropriate video with your students. As a class, discuss polite words and use chart paper to record a list of words the students will use throughout the week. Each morning this week, have students share which word(s) they used and keep a running tally. Ask students to share how it made them and others feel when they used polite words.
