A Message from the Principal

Dear Parents,

We are off to a great start to the new school year!

Please carefully read through the attached grade-level forms that require your attention and permission. You will save a great deal of time by reviewing the attached forms prior to attending curriculum night. You do not have to print the forms; a signature sheet will be provided during curriculum night for you to sign. If you are unable to attend curriculum night, we will be sending paperwork home next week for your attention.

Thank you again for your continued support. You make such a difference in our ability to succeed at Taylor Road Middle School!

Sincerely,

Ed Williamson

Principal

1-2-1 Reach Tutoring

It’s time for 1-2-1 Reach to start for the year. Our first session will be on Monday, August 28th from 4:05 to 5:00 PM in the media center.

The permission form can be found here and on the TRMS website. Please read carefully, as there have been some changes in the days in which you sign up for. Once the form is completed and turned in, your child can start immediately. There will not be any special way of contacting students to let them know they can start.

Please make sure you pick up your student between 5:00 and 5:15 PM. Your promptness and punctuality are greatly appreciated as the teachers need to be able to leave to get home to their families too.

At the following link, you will find the TRMS Device Behavior Matrix. The behavior matrix explains classroom expectations in reference to the use of students’ Dell Latitude 3150 laptops. It also lists the consequences for students who do not adhere to these expectations. Please review the document and discuss these expectations with your child. TRMS Device Behavior Matrix
