Where teens can and cannot work.
Minors 16 and 17 years of age have no state or federal law work hour restrictions.
Minors under the age of 16 may work no more than,4 hours on a school day, and 8 hours on a non-school day. Also minors can not work before 6 a.m and, and can not work after 9 p.m. Minors can not work during school hours of public or private schools .
Minors 14 and 15 of age can work 3 hours on a school day , 8 hours during a non school day and , 18 hours in a school week , and 40 hours in a non school week.They also can work between 7:00 am and 7:00 p.m. (extended to 9:00 p.m. June 1 through Labor Day)
