Tech Tip Tuesday
Feedback...Jazzed Up
Feedback
Feedback is important. Immediate feedback is the most effective. Feedback that the students will actually read is the best. Check out this week's Tech Tips for ways to provide feedback.

This website allows you to use live poll question to get student's feedback. Yesterday I sent out a quick email that asked for a little help from you. Hopefully it took you less than a minute to figure out how to submit your responses, and you can see the staff response (36 people below). It was extremely easy to login in and get a code. Check out this tutorial to see how to do it for yourself but if you want to take a quick poll or exit ticket this might be another easy go to.
THE FOLLOWING ARE CHROMEBOOK EXTENSIONS
Why does that matter? Brainstorming with Bradley you will not be able to download them on your chromebook and will need to be on a desktop. Sometimes extensions can be downloaded by you, and sometimes they can't. We have asked why this is to LIS and they have no response. So if that is the case you will need to do this on a device at home :(. Sorry in advance.
Love Bitmoji?
Why not use it a a feedback? So disclaimer here which should not surprise you is that this is that Bitmoji is blocked here at school. So if you want to use this you will have to provide your clever feedback on a device off of the school network.
This Google Chrome Extension allows you to place your bitmoji right into Google documents like slides, sheets, and docs with a click of a button. See the image in this section to see what it looks like.
- You will need to download the Chrome extension here
- Get logged in, and the extension will appear on your extensions tab in chrome
- Open students document and click the extension when you want to add the bitmoji
- In google slides and docs you can copy/paste or just drag into the document
- Google Sheets/forms you have to right click on the image and copy the image address, then paste it in
- Go crazy with awesome feedback the students might actually look at!
Webcam Feedback?

This Chrome Extension is really good for when you just want to give a quick response to a product without having to type and you don't mind mini videos of yourself floating aroud.
- You click the extension button
- It opens a little video window and you can say whatever you'd like about the project and finish.
- It automatically saves this video to your drive and copies the url for you
- On the document you are giving feedback just push control+v to paste the link in

- Push the folder button (See image for where "folder" is located)
- It will open the Google Drive folder associated with the assignment
- Then you will click the 20 chrome icon
- It will open every file in the folder
- Get to grading and see suggestions above to clever ways to provide feedback
