Note from Ms. Moulton
Greetings, Hosmer Families,
Happy Father's Day Weekend to all of our Hosmer dads and father figures!
Well, this year is finally drawing to a close. We have had fully online school, hybrid school, and in-person school. Our teachers have pivoted (an often used term) more times that we could image. We've found ways to do school that we would never imagine doing. Through it all, our students have continued learning and growing. Their resilience has been nothing short of amazing. I am sure that once we all have a bit of distance from the year the realization of how much we have done and how much has been accomplished will set in for all of us. Right now, though, I think we are all ready for the summer vacation!
Class Assignments & Move Up Day
On the last day of school (Tuesday), students will learn their class assignment for the coming year and have the opportunity to meet their teacher. This assignment will be communicated to parents in the students' final report cards, which they will also receive that day.
Virtual Students attending Move-Up Day should have received information in their teachers' newsletters.
Tuesday is a Half Day - 12:15 Dismissal
Thank you for your continued support of our wonderful school.
Erin Moulton

Help Take Care of the Hosmer Learning Garden
We are in need of families to help take care of our amazing school gardens this summer. Families can volunteer to water and weed and do some harvesting over the summer in our school gardens. Our students will use these gardens as a part of their learning in the fall next year!
If you are able to help, there will be volunteer orientation in the garden. No experience is required!
This sign-up is not a commitment, but an expression of interest. We will be in touch with further details.
Feel free to email Watertown Garden Coordinator, Judy Fallows, with any questions. judith.fallows@watertown.k12.ma.us
Note from the PTO
We hope you will consider joining Theresa Flaherty, Chris Higgins, and Christina Murphy on the PTO Board for the 2021-2022 year! Open positions include Vice President, Recording Secretary, Corresponding Secretary, Assistant Treasurer...more info.
Thank you all for your donations in support of the Dance Fit Program. We were able to raise $12,000 that will be used to provide enrichment opportunities to all students and to support our school programming!

Watertown Public Schools Visual Art Show
As our community transitioned from remote to in-person this school year, our students, our projects, the way we taught and the way we interacted adapted. Throughout all those changes, the common thread of creative engagement persevered. Our amazing students came to art classes ready to engage, challenge themselves and learn new skills and concepts. Our artistic community is resilient and creative! The Watertown Fine, Applied, and Performing Arts Department believes in the power of art to heal, empower, and inspire. In this spirit, we present our second virtual WPS Art Show!
