The Writing Rope Class
Course Overview
This course will provide a foundation for effective writing and is recommended for teaching writing with K-12 students. Participants will participate in a book/implementation study of The Writing Rope by Joan Sedita. The Writing Rope organizes multiple writing skills, strategies, and techniques into five components that represent the elements of a comprehensive writing curriculum: critical thinking, syntax, text structure, writing craft, and transcription.

Materials
All participants will need access to the book "The Writing Rope: A Framework for Explicit Writing Instruction in All Subjects" (1st Edition) by Joan Sedita M.Ed.
Credit is Available!
Participants can choose to register as Participant Only (no credit), Licensure Renewal credit, or CEUs.
