Winter season means lice, viruses and hand washing...see below
With the changing season and everyone in closer proximity, the incidents of lice and/or spreading of viruses can increase. We need to work together to keep everyone healthy and in school!
Please remember the following points:
Regularly check your child’s hair for lice. They are difficult to spot. Lice are about the size of a sesame seed and are brown or gray in color. Lice eggs, or nits, are oval, about the size of a grain of salt and are difficult to remove from the hair strand. Please use the links below for more info. Simply copy and paste.

Hand washing is the key to preventing the spread of illnesses. Please remind your students of the importance of washing their hands after using the restroom, covering their coughs and sneezes, and keeping their hands away from their mouths, eyes and nose.
After your child is ill or sent home from school ill, he/she must be free of fever, vomiting or diarrhea for 24 hrs without using any medications in that 24 hrs before returning to school. This protects your child as well as the other students and staff in the building. A fever is a temperature of 100 or greater. Please use the link below for helpful information from the CDC about the Flu.
