Dear parent and caregivers,

This week our Pre-Primary students aged a lot and came to school on Wednesday to celebrate 100 days in Pre-Primary! They looked truly amazing and from all accounts had a great day! Thank you to Mrs Passera and Mrs Hardie for making this such a magnificent day for our students. Also, well done to our parents and caregivers for getting their children to school ‘looking old’!

Good luck to Mrs Clarkson and our Year 2 students who will be participating in the CEWA Performing Arts Festival, ‘Spirit of the Arts’, on Tuesday. The students will be showcasing their dancing skills in the Christian Dance section of the festival. I cannot wait to see their performance on stage.

Thank you to all our families for your ongoing support as Covid still manages to impact school life. A reminder that mask wearing, and hand sanitising are effective measures against Covid. Additionally, if your child is unwell with a cold or flu, please keep them home until they are well enough to come back to school.

Finally, a reminder that if you are using Kiss and Drive for drop-off and pick-up, please do not get out of your car to collect your child. If your child needs help with seatbelts, I encourage you to park in the carpark so that this can be done safely. Please be patient if you are using Kiss and Drive.

Your childs 'shootkey' will be sent home next week. Each child has their own individual code for ordering. I suggest ordering ahead of time as late orders after the due date incurs a $30 fee. Photographs cannot be previewed however MSP have produced beautiful photos for us since 2014.

Please ensure you have checked your child's uniform and if new pieces are required please email Admin to place your order.

Curtin University offers Mathematics Enrichment classes for students in Years 5-11. Registrations are currently open for the Semester 2 program beginning 1st Aug 2022.

The program is suitable for a broad range of mathematically talented students. Students will be issued with a certificate upon completion of the course. The topics covered by the program are selected to complement the school curriculum and to challenge students with some non-standard problems.

Warmly invites you to 3 talks by Dr Cristina Lledo Gomez at James Nestor Hall Catholic Education Office 60 Ruislip St West Leederville. Cristina is the Presentation Sisters Lecturer at BBI-The Australian Institute of Theological Education where she promotes women’s spiritualities, feminist theologies and eco-theologies. Cristina is inspired by Karl Rahner SJ and has lectured at Boston and Berkeley Universities USA. She is the author of The Church as Woman and Mother and has published many articles covering her stated interests. Married with 2 children Cristina is proud of her Filipina heritage.
