Dear Loveland Families
The Loveland community sets a wonderful example in partnering with the school to accomplish your student’s academic and social goals. We had nearly 100% parental attendance for the 1st quarter conferences. It is our commitment to be an equal partner in ensuring your student’s success.
If you have questions or concerns about your child, please contact us.

CHANGING WEATHER AHEAD!
Fall is officially here and the temperatures are changing each day. Please make sure that your child is wearing appropriate clothing in the morning. Sweatshirts, fleeces, and jackets are easy to keep in a backpack in case of cooler temperatures at recess time.
Read With Your Child
One way to encourage your child to read is to read with him/her for 15-20 minutes every day. Reading with your child helps him/her build fluency, comprehension and vocabulary, plus it gives you the opportunity to have special time together.
Fun and Friendly Costumes, Please
Halloween is approaching so I know you all are thinking about your costumes! For our school parade and party, please wear only fun and friendly costumes. Fun and friendly costumes exclude blood, gore, scary/frightening masks or clothing, and weapons. If anyone has a question concerning the appropriateness of a costume, please contact me. Thanks for keeping things on the fun and light side!

Lunch Money
Tired of writing a check or sending cash for school meals? Go to mylunchmoney.com to pay for meals online. Your child’s ID number is required.
Note From the Nurse
Fall is upon us now and so is the cold, flu and allergy season! There are many children needing medication during the day, so this is a good time to give a quick reminder to everyone about the school district medication policy.
If you need us to give students medication at school, we must have the following items in place:
- A physician’s order with the time and dose of medicine to be given.
- A signed parent permission form permitting the school to administer medication.
- All medications MUST be in original containers. (Do not send pills or even cough drops in baggies or other containers.)
- Prescription medication must come in the pharmacy bottle. Pharmacies will supply you with an extra bottle for school upon request.
Positive Behavior Winners
Thank You
Thanks for supporting the Loveland Book Fair. Mrs. Dowse is excited to bring new books into the Library soon. A special thank you to Andi Fisher for organizing the Fall book fair. Enjoy reading all your new books.
Loveland teachers would like to thank Lisa Preston and her committee for providing the two wonderful meals during parent/teacher conferences. The goodies and meals provided wonderful energy to carry us through our long conference days.
