Hey 1st Impressions Team!

We had such a fun team gathering last night complete with a Holiday Yankee Swap and Dinner to celebrate our efforts (big and small) and ourselves in 2017. Wish you could have all been there in person!

If you're like me, you have a million things to do yourself as well. So, I thought I'd share my strategic S&D game plan for the week in addition to my one trunk show...

1. REACH OUT TO GET ORDERS WITH REGULAR & SALE PIECES! More effort out brings more money in!

Each new order I get today will be a customer I can reach out to in a week or so to book January!


Let's try to get qualified with 500 by Jan. 5!

2. BOOK ONE MORE SHOW FOR NEXT WEEK:

In my case this will be my OWN Open House & Sample Sale.


I'll be announcing to all my friends/contacts that my "shop" will be open for scheduled personal pop ins from 15/12 - 20/12.


Some days I'll have set hours that people can swing by and anyone can reach out to schedule at time to swing by that works with both of our schedules.


I'll have both my current line AND the samples I'm selling as cash & carry. If anyone wants to purchase a current piece and its past the ship date, I'll just sell my sample for the full price and have the replacement sent to my house as I won't be in a rush for it.


Love this time of year when I can simply set up at home and enjoy catching and helping my friends!

3. PLANT SEEDS ABOUT OUR STYLIST OPPORTUNITY

I'll be reaching out to my potential stylists via email AND phone calls to share the current line and plant the seed that I still think she would be a great stylist (for whatever genuine reason).


DIAL UP YOUR SEASON LEVELS 2+ REQUIRE SPONSORING! This fun incentive ends Dec. 19th so a great reason to reach out :)


I'd love to help people kick off 2018 with a fun way to bring money in the door so that will be a big focus of mine.


By taking the time NOW to plant the seed, if she's not yet ready to sign up in December, then my next reach out in January won't be coming out of left field and she may then be ready to MAKE money after having spent it at the holidays :)

4. BOOK JANUARY

I want to hold 4 IN-HOME trunk shows in January to kick off my Q1 with abundance AND I want them booked before I take off for the holidays. Plus inclement weather often derails plans but I still need to pay the bills so want to over plan in case of cancelations.


This is absolutely doable when we plan NOW for January. At that point people are looking for something to do in the dead of winter and we'll have our NEW SPRING COLLECTION to drive attendance with their guests.


I'll be reaching out to thank those who've ordered from me this fall/winter and make sure they're all set with their gifts or see if they need anything else. I'll then plant the seed about grabbing their girlfriends together mid-January to reconnect post holidays and enjoy the new fashions just released!


Just imagine how great you'll feel knowing you brought in money with your holiday shopping services and that you have a robust business to come back to in the new year!

5. MARK MY CALENDAR FOR THE SPRING LAUNCH

TUESDAY, JANUARY 16th ~ 6-9pm - NEW ENGLAND SPRING LAUNCH GATHERING


Be sure to check the local events section in the lounge to find your closest event and mark your calendar to attend and bring potential hostesses/stylists and your team! Most will be happening b/n 9/1 - 17/1.
