Happy New Year!

Welcome back! I hope you had a wonderful and restful break. As we prepare for the K-4 technology deployment (date TBD), I encourage you all to start having conversations with your students about digital citizenship. Common Sense Media (https://www.commonsensemedia.org/educators/scope-and-sequence) has really great resources and Common Core aligned lessons on digital citizenship. If you would like to schedule a time for me to come work with your students on this, please let me know!

Forgot your password? No problem!

Another reason why Google Chrome is the recommended web browser: Password recovery!

If you (or your students) have forgotten a password and you're using Google Chrome, follow these steps to see your forgotten password(s).

  1. In the upper right corner of your window, click the three bars (looks like a hamburger).
  2. Click "Settings".
  3. At the bottom of the page, click "Show advanced settings".
  4. Under "Passwords and forms," click Manage passwords.
  5. Select the website you need the password for and click "show"
  6. A box will appear, put the password that you use to login to your computer.
  7. The password that you need will appear.

Canvas

Don't forget! The Canvas webinar will be on January 20th from 2:30-4:30.

Please complete all assignments in the Canvas course (I emailed the link) prior to this training. If you have any questions about the assignments, please email me!
